If there ever was words to live by, it would be:
Be yourself: everyone else is already taken.
Oscar Wilde
When you think about it, we only have a handful of decades on this chaotic rock spinning and swirling throughout space at mind boggling speeds. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to make a splash on earth with the time I have.
My story is one about growth: it’s about me becoming the best version of myself and about helping those around me to be the best versions of themselves. While that’s happening, I am bound and determined to not lead a boring life.
Working
Like many people, much of my identity is wrapped up in what I do for a living. This may or may not be a healthy way to live your life, but it’s the reality of many people’s lives.
I am an Application Development Manager at JW Pepper in Exton. I have 15 years of experience as a full stack developer, starting from humble beginnings, teaching myself PHP, and as time wore on, building a brilliant career for myself. See the Resume Page to take a look at what I’ve been up to for the past 14 and a half years.
Learning
I am obsessed with learning new things. I am working on my MBA at Villanova University in SE Pennsylvania. I have a partial Masters in Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, but while my GPA was fantastic, I stopped due to lack of funds.
But it’s not just pursuing endless advanced degrees that I work on. See the Learning Page to find out what I’ve been working on.
Loving
I love cooking, taking long walks, reading whatever I can get my hands on, and the Peanuts (that is, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, etc) franchise. Take a look at my Blog for other things that I ramble on about.
Thinking Big Picture
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
Walt Disney
Remember, I’m here to lead a not-boring life. I love to hear about other people’s dreams. That’s the subject of a future podcast I want to make in the not-so-distant future, call the IPA: Inspiration, Perspiration, and Aspiration. Take a look at a few of my dreams and share some of yours on the Dreams Page.
