“So, Jim. What have you been up to for the past 14 years, 11 months, and 17 days?” That’s a question I’m never asked. But if I was asked that, I’d respond that I’ve been working as a manager of web application development, a developer myself and building things from small websites to massive web applications. I’ve worked by myself and on large teams. I’ve lead teams, I’ve followed leaders. I’ve had mind-blowing, against all odds successes that I celebrated. I’ve had crushing failures and defeats that I’ve learned from.

Jim has a deep understanding of leadership and vision and an empathetic leadership style. He is a master communicator, adaptable, and calm under pressure. His interest in the marketing world gives him a customer-centric mindset that serves his projects well and delivers well-thought-out solutions that meet the business’s and customers’ needs. Beyond the company, Jim is a great human being, and I have enjoyed our discussions on leadership and accountability.
– Ian McLoughlin, Senior Director of Marketing, JW Pepper
I had the pleasure of working with Jim for a bit more than 2 years at ARC, where we were both on the dev team. He is a JavaScript ninja, but I also observed him grow as a team leader, taking over responsibility for a major internal application that supported our library design team. Being a small company, this placed him in both the roles of product manager and lead developer. He executed both responsibilities adroitly while keeping senior management informed of progress. Great management potential!
